Phi Delta Theta Summer 2019 Housing Application
Phi Delta Theta is an MIT fraternity located at 97 Bay State Road in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. The House is a six-story brownstone mansion that borders the Charles River. Originally built for the Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts in the early 20th century, the house follows the high Georgian architecture style and features a marble entryway and staircase as well as solid hardwood floors. The house includes a game room, living room, dining room, library, and a full industrial kitchen.

The house is located in the historic Back Bay neighborhood in Boston University's Campus and is directly surrounded by dorms and apartments. The house is located a block away from Kenmore Square and is a two minute walk from the Green line. There are restaurants and bars all within few minutes of walking distance. In addition, Fenway Park is only a few blocks away.

The house has 4 quads/triples, 2 doubles, and 14 singles available and can room 36 people. We have quads, triples, doubles and singles available for $2300, $2400, $2600, and $3100 respectively. These are the total prices for the entire Summer. The move in date is Sunday May 28th, or any time after. All residents must be moved out by the end of August 18th.

Included in the price are a bed, desk, office chair, and closet space. All rooms also have access to our full industrial kitchen, washer/dryer, and bathrooms with amenities. Utilities and high speed internet are also included. All rooms except for a few have a window AC unit. A few parking spots are being offered for a fee and there is a public parking lot a couple minutes away from the house. Included are basic cooking supplies, snacks, and subsidized events both in Boston and at the house. There will be weekly social events planned by our social chair. We also require a $200 dollar security deposit which will be returned to you at the end of the summer, assuming you have made all payments on time, cleaned up after yourself, and are in good order with the house.

Move in and move out dates are flexible any time between 5/28/19 and 8/18/19. The ratio of male to female boarders will be maintained at roughly 50/50.

The Process:
1) Fill out this application
2) If we offer you a spot, then we'll contact you.
3) Make a $200 dollar security deposit, pay half of the rent for the entire summer, and sign a rooming contract to reserve a room for the summer. The security deposit and first half of the rent is non-refundable.
4) We'll work together to decide your preferences for rooms and roommates.
5) The second half of the rent for the entire summer must be made by cash or check within the first week of you moving in.
